The maestro of mind-bending cinema, Christopher Nolan has served up decades of memorable cinema like his most recent flick, Oppenheimer. As a visionary filmmaker, his best projects have long showcased his unique storytelling with stunning visuals. Among his noteworthy works, Interstellar won an Oscar award for its stunning visual effects. Meanwhile, Dunkirk, which beautifully captured the gritty intensity of World War II, bagged multiple Oscars as well.

However, for the masses who indulge their cinematic needs through OTTs like Netflix, another one of his critically acclaimed projects had been out of their reach. Recently, Netflix remedied that by bringing this much-awaited franchise to its platform.

This franchise by Christopher Nolan arrives on Netflix 

With its dark and complex narrative, The Dark Knight Trilogy, which was directed by Nolan, became some of DC’s best works. It revolutionized the superhero genre with its gritty realism in the hands of Nolan. Now, Netflix has announced that all three of the Batman movies are now available to watch on its platform! The OTT mogul certainly made many DC fans’ day with this update.

For DC fanatics, this trilogy remains a timeless masterpiece that intricately explores the duality of being a superhero. Earlier, Nolan had even stated that Oppenheimer was not far from the way “Batman and the Dark Knight trilogy” was portrayed, making DC lovers rush to catch his latest blockbuster.

Now that the Oppenheimer frenzy is nearing its end, fans of his work wonder if he would be up for another much-awaited renowned franchise. Maybe even with Oppenheimer’s Cillian Murphy in the lead?

After Oppenheimer, Nolan might direct James Bond

After 2021’s No Time to Die, a new James Bond movie is finally on the horizon. Since the world’s most celebrated spy-thriller deserves only the best cinematographers at its helm, many wanted Christopher Nolan to inherit the role. And when the British director finally showed interest, fans debated whether Cillian Murphy or Henry Cavill would be better to pair up with him for it. 

While a majority wanted Henry Cavill to take on the 007 part, another face that dominated the charts was Cillian Murphy. The odds temporarily even favored Murphy, considering the brilliant works the duo has delivered in the past. Either way, if Nolan takes on the project, it would definitely be safe in his hands.
