When Netflix subscribers first entered this supernatural world of Hawkins, they knew nothing about the story. However, with the end coming near, it is almost impossible to not think about the unexplored arcs of the story. So we have listed down five top moments that did not get much consideration after the show became famous.

Death of Barb was a waste

Stranger Things being the ultimate killer of favorite characters started with Nancy Wheeler’s BFF Barb. In season 1, viewers saw how this character was left alone by her friend and ultimately became prey to the monsters of Upside Down. People have long remained bitter about her death, which was not only cruel but also illogical.

Fans often wonder what difference Barb could have made to the story if she was alive. And this thought has left an emptiness in the hearts of viewers which might never fill even when the show ends.

Steve being a real jerk

As of now, Steve Harrington has established himself among the most beloved character of the sci-fi series. But at the beginning of the show, he was just a popular guy who bullied other kids. Despite having all the charms to attract girls, including the show’s heroine Nancy, he failed to hide his rather hideous qualities.

For instance, he abused Nancy by calling her a slut after seeing her with Jonathan in the bedroom. Instead of understanding the entire story behind it, he just believed what he saw and wrote her name on the city walls.

Demogorgon feeding off an egg

During its run, the horror drama has brought to light several enigmas, such as the large yellow egg. The eighth episode of season 1 saw Jim Hopper and Joyce Byers entering an alternate dimension to rescue Will. This is when Hopper stumbled upon an egg on the ground cracked open as if someone had fed on it.

Fans have created many theories about what depiction of this egg meant in the show or what terror it could leash upon the characters in upcoming seasons. Sadly, that was the first and last time when viewers got to see that egg, and the mystery is unresolved to date.

The creepiness of Jonathan

Jonathan Byers might be titled the best brother for supporting and loving his younger brothers. But his disregard for others’ privacy did not go unnoticed in season 1. In season 1, episode 2, Jonathan went out in the night to find any evidence of his brothers’ vanish. During this search, he peeped into the party taking place at Steve’s home and photographed them all.

As Nancy and Steve made their way inside, he continued to click pictures and captured a shirtless Nancy on his camera. Though Duffer Brothers has denied of deleting any scenes, fans do remember it happened. It is assumed that they might have done it to clear his image because of the relationship that fans got to see in the following seasons.

Will was never an original character

It is widely known that the complete story of this supernatural world is connected to Will Byers. He was the first target of the evil sorcerer Vecna from season 1. Despite being the key to all this, he still failed to create a bond with the audience that he should have. This happened because he was not given enough screen time at first and even in season 4 he did not get much spotlight. All fans know about him is that he is queer and likes his best friend Mike.

Besides this, Will has no solid hold on the storyline, even when he is the one to warn everyone about the plans of Vecna. Stranger Things Season 5 will bring the final conclusion of this world and one can only hope that Will gets his rightful place this time.
