While Ripley presents a more tight-jawed, jaded-by-the-world, and absent-hearted persona, Andrew Scott treats The Priest from Fleabag with the utmost empathy that a human can exude. However, that is absolutely not where his prowess ends. He pushes further, breaking barriers and taking on all nine main characters in Uncle Vanya, a modern-day rendition of Anton Chekhov's play. The production, which premiered in 2023, showcases the persistent and multiplying pains of its characters with remarkable depth.
