We often find fans comparing all the seasons of Stranger Things that have come out till now. And it is astounding how these eagle eyes followers find things that even creators sometimes miss out on. But it is safe to say Season 2 is without flaws tells the reasons that we have listed down below after analyzing it closely.

1. Steve and Dustin’s bond

In the past seven years, Joe Keery’s Steve Harrington has become the certified babysitter or dad to the core cast. Though the character did some bad things in the debut season, it entirely changed when Season 2 came out. Remember how the hot high school guy turned himself into a father to save Dustin from his pet Dart? It was one of the most interesting and wholesome moments when these two got together to find this Demodog.

Season 2 was the first spark of friendship between the both of them that later entertained viewers thoroughly. Not to mention, Steve also bonded with other characters that fitted well him into the narrative. Considering Duffer Brothers were going to kill him at the beginning of the plot for he was a bad buy, but this bond changed him.

2. Hopper becoming Eleven’s dad

Before exploring the world of humans, the only definition of fatherhood Eleven knew was PAPA. The cruel scientist who caged her in an underground lab like some animal for his experiments. Thankfully, Season 2 brought Jim Hopper in the frame as the man who truly cares about this young girl. Hopper, taking El under his wing, was the most fantastic solution writers found for her homelessness. As it was clear, she could not s[end her whole life in Mike’s basement.

Eleven needs actual security from the prying eyes of people who saw her as a powerful key to control this world. 3. Will gets the limelight

It is always said that the horror drama is woven around a little boy who gets lost and the aftermath of discoveries that come with it. However, Season 2 can be considered the only season where fans truly get to watch the struggles and pain he has gone through after coming back from Upside Down. It showed how the memories of that alternative world and Mind Flayer continuously haunted him.

At the end of Season 4, fans saw that Will could feel the presence of that monster inside him, but it never depicted what he felt. Whereas Season 2 clearly represented the physical and mental pain he had to bear throughout this time. Well, one can only wish that he gets through the end when Vecna makes his final move in Season 5.

4. Entry of new characters

It is without question that Season 2 added some of the most pivotal characters to the plot. Stranger Things Season 1 presented fans with a gang of four boys who welcome a supernatural girl into their team. Then Season 4 invites another girl, Max Mayfield, who later becomes El’s best friend and teaches her all the ways of girls. She does seem distant and stubborn at the start, but turns out to be a shockingly rich addition to this gang.
