When it comes to Jennifer Lopez, the world just can’t have enough of her. Netflix has understood that pretty well and is coming out with a movie called The Mother. Starring pop star and actress Jennifer Lopez as a deadly assassin, The Mother is a thriller set to brush the fans off their feet, and of course, we are all going to die looking at the beauty of JLo.

With a few little details and a pretty promising first look, Netflix is ready to serve us with The Mother. The movie will be directed by Niki Caro and filming will commence this month. Even though we have no dates for the possible release, we did get a peek at the cast list for the thriller, and maybe a little something about the plot as well. The streaming giant was in a mood to make the fans happy on October 15, and it did exactly that. Two pictures of JLo from the sets of The Mother were released. She looked absolutely stunning in both of them. The tweet read, “a female-driven action movie starring @JLo? love to see it! here’s a first look at Jennifer Lopez as a deadly assassin on the run in THE MOTHER – coming soon to Netflix”

Fans are definitely excited about this new project and are yearning for more updates for the same. But at least we have some images to look at for now.

The cast and plot for the movie

According to a report by Variety, Joseph Fiennes, Gael Garcia Bernal, and Omari Hardwick will be joining the cast of JLo’s The Mother. Along with them, Paul Raci and Lucy Paez will also play a part in the movie. Paez is going to play the role of Lopez’s daughter.

While not much is known about the plot and storyline of the movie. A brief outline of the movie would be; A mother, once a deadly assassin, is set to return to the killing business when she has to protect her only daughter from deadly men. All in all, watching Jennifer Lopez as a worldly assassin is surely going to be a treat, and we honestly can’t wait for it.
