Recently, people have witnessed how Netflix has been spreading beyond just providing entertainment. In addition to providing top-quality shows and movies to its subscribers, the streaming platform has begun to spread its reach into the video game world and even merchandising. Initially, the giant began by selling merchandise for some of its top shows, including Stranger Things. And recently, Netflix announced a special surprise for its fans. 

For all Stranger Things fans, it is impossible not to know of Hooper’s special Triple Decker Extravaganza or the Hawkins Middle School chocolate pudding. However, unlike fan-favorite characters from the show, people do not need a Hawkins card or telepathic abilities to grab a taste of them. Much to the delight of the fans, Netflix recently announced the launch of a new ice cream flavor, Scoops Ahoy, to give the fans a taste of Hawkins through an exciting teaser. 

The new ice cream flavors draw inspiration from the Starcourt Mall ice cream parlor. Viewers witnessed the same store in season 3 of the show where Steve and Robin worked. Netflix released the range of flavors in multiple stores across the US and Australia on 13 September. Meanwhile, the ice cream would also be made available in multiple countries, including Mexico, Italy, the UK, and Brazil, over a period.

Days after releasing a glimpse of destroyed Scoops Ahoy, Netflix’s latest launch of new ice flavors has set the internet on fire. As soon as the streamer shared the announcement, fans flooded Twitter with exciting reactions. A bunch of fans reacted to the news as they revealed their wish for Steve Harrington to serve them ice cream.

It seems like the ice cream flavors are a tremendous hit among the fans as a user commented, “The way I just bought three of them and I am HOOKED.”
