Fans Take to Twitter on Will Smith’s Statements on Emancipation, “bottled rage”, and Oscars Slap
Will Smith has been breaching top headlines for the whole year. Right from the infamous Oscar slap, every news update on the King Richard star automatically makes its way back to back to the incident that happened in March. The star is now all set to make his next comeback in the industry with the movie Emancipation. However, it seems the world still has not recovered from his slapgate.

The action thriller, which is scheduled for release on 9th October, is based on the treacherous life of a runaway slave. Depicting the untold stories of millions of such slaves, Will Smith portrays the life of Peter. It is the journey of how he tries to escape the cold-blooded killers and the forbidden swamps of Louisiana.
Fans fight back as haters and critiques cause hindrance to Will Smith starrer Emancipation
A plot of such suspense and thriller, however, could not convince some viewers to spare the actor of indignation. Owing to the same, the actor recently released a statement that read, he “completely understands” if some people still are not accepting of his comeback into the industry. Fans, on the other hand, have been outraged by the criticism of Smith’s stance. A bunch of them took to Twitter to justify their support against people who have not left their mistakes behind.
A fan reportedly called out the critics who have been dodging bigger blunders in the industry. It has allegedly claimed how other terrible people in Hollywood have continued to work regardless of their mistakes. Will Smith has at least acknowledged his mistake and apologized for it, said the tweet. The thread has a whole list of supporters who tried their best to uphold the integrity of the star. Needless to say, the number of haters was equally enthusiastic about defaming the actor.
“I’m so tired of the continued bashing and demeaning of this man…” said another fan.
