Fans See Henry Cavill as Yet Another ‘X-Men’ Member Following Several Wishful MCU Characters

Despite the several varied characters in his arsenal, Henry Cavill, as the Man of Steel, will forever be etched in our memories. The fact that there are barely any acts left for Cavill as Superman is a tough pill to swallow for avid fans. Although, truth be told, the buzz around The Witcher actor jumping ship and joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe is an entertaining thought. But which role should the latest Sherlock play?

Well, the fans sure have a long list locked and loaded. While Sentry, Hyperion, and other Superman-Esque roles may be an obvious choice, Cavill supporters are even scrounging through the X-Men World to find a good fit. From the clean-cut good guy Cyclops to the rather grey and grungy Wolverine, we could see the British hunk as a variety of mutants. However, one fan has a rather unique yet intriguing proposition. Let’s find out what that is.

Fan art showing Henry Cavill as X-Men’s smartest and furriest

An Instagram account, spdrmnkyxxiii, recently conceptualized a beautiful and interesting piece of art. It has a rendering of Henry Cavill as Doctor Hank McCoy from the X-Men. For those wondering who that is, you might know the scientist with 6 PhDs by his better-known moniker, Beast. While the artwork shows him as Hank, eagle-eyed viewers might notice the feet captured mid-transformation.

A gifted individual, Hank is also one of the founding members of the X-Men and strove hard to maintain the peace between mutants and humans. Apart from the power of agility. Hank was also born with prehensile feet or hands for feet. Ashamed of this deformity, he created a serum using Raven’s (Mystique) blood sample. This would help him look normal while maintaining his abilities.

Alas, the serum failed and transformed him into a furry blue creature with claws and fangs. This resulted in the more fitting term for him, Beast. If Cavill looks so good in digital art, imagine how great The Witcher actor would look if he actually embodies the character; adorned with make-up and prosthetics. Perhaps all we need is a fan art with Cavill as Hank’s blue-furred rendition until this becomes a reality.

Do you think Henry Cavill will make a good Beast? Lets us know in the comments. In the meantime, all we can do is his other performances, like The Witcher streaming on Netflix.
