Fans React to the Latest Teaser for Netflix’s ‘Scott Pilgrim Takes Off’
With its recent releases, it seems as though Netflix has been on a roll. With one hit after another, the streaming giant has become a threshold for quality content. Crunchyroll may have been the place to watch anime, but with Netflix dipping into anime recently, the title of ‘best anime streaming platform’ is going to be switching hands. Along with the likes of One Piece, another anime that is being awaited by fans is Netflix’s Scott Pilgrim series. It will be an adaptation of the comic book series that was created by Bryan Lee O’Malley.
With the fans slowly starting to lose their patience, Netflix decided to share a teaser, along with a bit of surprise. The first teaser for the upcoming Scott Pilgrim Takes Off anime series is finally out. And it had a surprise in store for fans, with the actors from 2010’s Scott Pilgrim vs The World voicing their original characters. Fans were also told that the series is set to release on November 17th, which leaves three months for the countdown.

Netflix has fans of all ages, completely losing it over a 20-year-old series. If the series is as good as the comic books and the movie, it could end up being one of Netflix’s most-watched series. Not to mention that once news broke, the fan pages went crazy. For those who are unfamiliar with the Scott Pilgrim series, the storyline follows Scott Pilgrim, voiced by Michael Cera, whose biggest problem was getting rid of his girlfriend. Then he met Ramona Flowers, voiced by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, whose exes made it extremely difficult for the duo to be together.
From the sneak peek viewers have gotten so far, it is not surprising that fans are taking to Twitter to hype up the release further.
Fans pour their heart out on Netflix’s Scott Pilgrim update
With Netflix giving fans so many updates all at once, the fan pages went insane, and the fans began swarming Twitter to share their sentiment. Most of the fans decided to leave comments on the post and some left GIFs showing their excitement, but one thing was clear: no one could focus on the same thing.
Some were just genuinely excited about one of their childhood movies, coming back as an anime series!
But as always, some Twitter users could not care less about the updates.
