Netflix seems to be on a roll of putting out amazing adaptations. From One Piece live-action adaption to their upcoming book adaptation plans with Meghan Markle and even Shawn Levy, it is no surprise that the streaming giant may have found their new success formula. In fact, earlier today, the media company dropped another adaptation on their platform. The streaming giant teamed up with the filmmaker, Mike Flanagan, to give its fans a new version of Edgar Allan Poe’s The Fall of the House of Usher.
After sharing the trailer almost a month ago, the mini-series finally made its way to the platform. The series is a gothic horror drama that focuses on the life of the CEO of a corrupt pharma company. However, he has to own up to his past when his children start being killed off one after the other.

While the trailer was more than enough to get fans hooked, the star-studded cast did not hurt much either. The series features stars from various different films and franchises. From Mark Hamill, Zach Gilford, Henry Thomas, Carla Gugino, and more, the cast sports a collection of actors who are immensely experienced and brought the story to life effortlessly.
Just like any new Netflix series that comes out, there was a lot of buzz about the mini-series. In fact, subscribers were excited about the film right up until its release and after they saw it, they loved it even more.
Fans in love with Netflix’s The Fall of the House of Usher
On October 12th, Netflix added The Fall of the House of Usher to its library. After months of teasing and creating a buzz around the show, it seems to have paid off. Not even a day after the series was released, social media went into a frenzy over how good the adaptation was. Fans even took to their social media accounts to pat Mike Flanagan on the back for his outstanding work.

With all the reviews so far being extraordinary, Netflix’s Global Top 10 might just have a new addition soon. So far, it looks like the adapted mini-series could be Mike Flanagan’s best work of art yet. However, fans might have to wait a little while longer before it gets confirmed for a second season.
