Fans Kickstart a Meme Fest as Netflix’s Next Anime Adaptation Vows to Bring in the Original Cast of ‘Scott Pilgrim vs the World’
Over the years fans had asked if Scott Pilgrim vs the World will ever return to the big screen or not. The first adaptation of the graphic novel didn’t live up to the viewers’ expectations and turned out to be a box office bomb with mixed reviews from both critics and fans. Yet some people treasured all the good things that the movie brought on camera and believed someday they will get to see it again. So, taking this story further, Netflix announced that the adventures of this acclaimed comic will continue to entertain people in an animated series. Not just that, the streamer also rejoiced fans by confirming that they will cast the actors from the original film created in 2010.
Discussing Film recently shared a post on Twitter revealing that Netflix has decided to bring back the original cast for the upcoming anime. This includes Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Brie Larson, Chris Evans, Kieran Culkin, Anna Kendrick, Alison Pill Aubrey Plaza Johnny Simmons Mark Webber Ellen Wong Satya Bhabha, Jason Schwartzman, Brandon Routh, and Mae Whitman.

The cast members will voice the characters they portrayed in the movie. Moreover, the original artist of the comic series Bryan Lee O’Malley will be helming the revival alongside Edgar Wright, who directed the first film.
As for the plotlines of the series, studios have kept all the details discreet until now. However, fans are just happy to hear that their beloved cast is back in the fold once again.
