But before getting caught up in the web of love triangles, surprise pregnancies, and drama that knows no bounds, Lily Collins is here to steal the spotlight in her very own Paris- while also embracing her latest short hair era. And just like her on-screen persona, Emily Cooper, the actress has brought her fashion best to the event.

The premiere of Emily in Paris season 4 took place at the Egyptian Theater in Los Angeles. For the occasion, Lily Collins donned a custom black Armani Privé gown, adorned with sequins on its bodice and a peplum effect at the waist that shimmered with various sequins. The dress’ skirt, with its embroidered transparent checkerboard print, gave a subtle glimpse of her legs.

Collins completed her look with geometric dangle drop earrings, a wedding band, and a single silver ring. She kept her signature soft glam look, with simple makeup with soft brown eyeshadow and nude lipstick. Yet, the true highlight was that this monochromatic ensemble seemed like a conscious move away from Collins’ character in the Netflix series. Nevertheless, it hit all the right notes.
