Netflix is one streaming giant that ensures that fans of not even a single genre feel neglected. The streaming giant is notorious for its thrillers, intriguing docuseries, science fiction, and modern romances. However, the relentless dedication it has shown in reviving the animated genre goes unnoticed a lot of the time. One of the most intriguing animated projects the streamer indulged fans in, apart from the Oscar-winning Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, was Castlevania: Nocturne.

Based on the famous video game of the same name, Castlevania: Nocturne, came to Netflix on the 28th of September. Crafted by Clive Bradley, the animated series was nothing short of a work of art. While fans showered with unprecedented love, Netflix took things up a notch as it announced that Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2 had started production mere days after the release of the first season.

From its dynamic characters set in a literal revolutionary setting to the intriguing plot, the series boasted of all the ingredients required to make a top-notch animated series. Therefore, it does not come as a surprise that Netflix, the undeclared messiah of the animated lovers, did not waste any time in renewing the series for a new season for a second season. However, it is not often that a Netflix series gets a green light for a second season so quickly.

The first season of the loved anime was a sequel to Netflix’s Castlevania. A follow-up to the animated series that Netflix created in 2017 with the same determination to reignite the animated genre. And with Castlevania: Nocturne, it seems to have achieved the goal, as fans go into a dance with various memes, GIFs, and variations of “We are so excited!”

Clive Bradley and Kevin Kolde, the masterminds behind the animated gold, have thanked fans for the out-pour of love they showered on in the first season. “Thank you to all of the fans – new and returning – who tuned in to watch,” the makers said.
