While Netflix had always been considered the OTT Mogul, it was through Stranger Things that the streamer met its pinnacle. Upon its release in 2016, the thriller science fiction series managed to amass a fanbase unlike any other. It is also arguably the best Netflix original. All this along with the fact that it has also played a part in the platform making major monetary gains is enough reason for Netflix and Stranger Things to not be a onetime thing. As the series announced its fifth and final season, before fans could even comprehend the sorrow, the streamer has announced another addition to the Upside Down.

It was in 2022 that the Duffer brothers announced a live-action spinoff of Stranger Things. And yet to release a trailer for Season 5, the series has given fans another good news.
