Royals fans have been forever divided when it comes to the two leading members of the royal family, Kate Middleton, and Meghan Markle. Both of them have carved out a niche of their own and have left their unique mark on the family. While Middleton established herself as one of the best-suited Queen in waiting for the throne, Markle proved herself to be the one who does not go by the books.  

An age-old video as reported by Newsweek, of the Princess of Wales and Duchess of Sussex attending the 2018 annual Wimbledon championship, has gone viral on TikTok. Markle, in fact, has attended the tennis tournament twice with her sister-in-law. Kate Middleton is reportedly the president of the All England Lawn Tennis Club. She was also bestowed with the honor of presenting prizes and trophies to the champions.

In the course of the same, Middleton and Markle sat next to each other and were seen laughing and chatting between themselves in the stands. In many instances, it felt like the sisters-in-law were having a great time. However, the fans noticed something was not right.

The same video segment was uploaded to TikTok by a user named middleagemashup, where fans thoroughly analyzed the body language and behavioral mannerisms of both the royal women. The video fell prey to numerous speculations and misconceptions as it is. 

What were the fan reactions to Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle?

A fan even commented on how Meghan Markle always felt about the stint of coming to the royal family. Meanwhile, Middleton was the senior royal member ever since, slaying her duties as always. “Meghan didn’t like [being] 2nd to Kate. She hated the [fact] Kate is a senior and has to fall behind,” wrote one user.

“They would’ve been our fav duo but unfortunately the media pitted them against each other,” said one poster, with further comment adding: “They could’ve been such good friends. it almost looked like they were enjoying each other’s company.”

“The way Meghan always puts Kate in front is so cute. She actually followed the protocol and seems very calm about it,” wrote nathuram.

While some wrote in favor of praising the royal women in the stands, others could point out the upcoming feuds that they ultimately went through. Others simply got disappointed over the fact that they could have made a power duo had they managed to keep controversies at bay.
