Fans express their excitement over the dance sequence on Wednesday
Following the release of Wednesday on Netflix, fans went crazy after the dance scene featured in episode four. In the episode titled Woe What A Night, the protagonist attends Nevermore Academy’s annual Rave’N dance with Tyler. This socially awkward girl joins the stage and shock everyone with her funky and ghoulish moves. Indeed, it was one of the most visually and thematically stunning moments in this coming-of-age series.

Jenna Ortega showed the best of her performance slaying on the tune of The Cramps‘ ‘Goo Goo Muck’. If we call it in Wednesday fashion “I swear on my late scorpion’s soul” her dance was impeccable.
Impressed by her extremely kooky and spooky dance moves, fans have expressed their excitement on Twitter. One fan commented “Blink and You’ll miss it.” Another user said he doesn’t have the word to explain how f***ing amazing her dance is. Take a look here to more such tweets!

In a behind-the-scenes video dropped by Netflix on social media, it was revealed that Jenna Ortega herself choreographed the dance scene. All the cast members, including Ortega, Luis Guzmán, Emma Myer, Joy Sunday, Percy Hynes White, Hunter Doohan, and Fred Armisen, gushed over the scene.
The actress stated that she felt insecure at that time because she was not a professional dancer. “I choreographed that myself and I think it’s very obvious that I’m not a dancer or choreographer,” explained the Scream star.
