Fan Favourite Anime Pokemon 2023 Introduces Three New Characters
Pokemon is one anime whose fanbase has only grown through the years. It is one of the most popular anime series both in Japan and worldwide and its prominence only grows despite its game being ironically named ‘Pokemon Go!’ Especially with Pokemon 2023 series set to air in April, OLM Production house and Saori Den are introducing a set of new characters and hinting at the intriguing plotline that the series is set to follow.
The anime series has continued to make one exciting announcement after another. Given that the coming Pokemon series will be doing away with its arguably most vital character, Ash. And to make up for that, the series has announced its new set of characters likely to be antagonists to further build the hype.
Pokemon Catches new antagonists

Pokemon’s official Twitter account is a blessing to fans of the series, especially with the release date of the new series approaching soon. The showrunners have introduced to fans the character sketch of three new characters. Additionally, the Trainers have a menacing element to their features, leading many to think that they are antagonists.
Pokemon 2023’s new characters, along with their pokemon, have been introduced. The pointy eyebrows and snarky grin aren’t the only things pointing towards their character arc being villainous, their pokemon, Ceruledge, Rhydon, and Pokemon Golduck, further feed into the narrative.

The trio is named Explorers as per the tweet made on Pokemon’s official Twitter and while their goals may be similar to that of the protagonists, they will not be fighting for the same cause. Amethyo, whose Pokemon is Ceruledge, is the leader of the pack. Moreover, that its signature move is named the Bitter Blade only hints at him being a tough fight. His other teammates are named Zir and Conia and together make for a fierce trio.

The anime series will be airing on the 14th of April in Japan and it marks the onset of a new millennium for the British empire. Featuring protagonists Liko and Roy, it will premiere with a one-hour special. To make things more exciting are three Paldea starter Pokemon. Now with the antagonist also introduced, fans cannot wait to enjoy a new Pokemon-packed fight.
