Fan Art Gives Perfect Farewell to Henry Cavill’s Superman, Alongside Spiderman
It has been days since the British Baron, Henry Cavill, announced losing what Hollywood calls the most legendary role, Superman. The Game franchise paid the latest homage to the star by announcing a Superman Easter egg in The Witcher: 3 Wild Hunt Game series. Henry Cavill honored with Spider-Man’s farewell
The fan artist with the user ID BossLogic took to Twitter to upload an art piece for Henry Cavill’s departure from his most notable role. It honored the star with a heart-touching Spider-Man-style farewell post for his official announcement on Instagram. Fans did not take a minute to know the idea behind the tribute. It was evidently a recreation of Spider-Man’s popular Spider-Man No More! picture.
It showcased a silhouette of Henry Cavill turning his back from the scene. As he walked away in despair with his dog, Kal, his famous Superman cape lay deserted on a trash can. Besides the suit, laid his shield in a corner, giving the audience a poignant reminder of changing times. It is also to note that as much as Henry Cavill was beloved in the DC universe, his dog has left an equally unforgettable mark.

In the recent game update of The Witcher confirmed by the comic book, it is Henry’s Kal whom gamers will get to see at the terminal stage of a worthwhile match. Like the DCEU, the Netflix blockbuster adaptation of The Witcher franchise also went through a tough time when the British A-lister resigned from his role as the legendary Geralt of Rivia. Nevertheless, it seems as if in both domains, Kal’s mark will live on forever. And through him, so will Henry Cavill’s.
