December is the month of holidays and gifts, and Christmas is coming a week early at Netflix this year with The Witcher season 2 releasing on December 17, 2021. With amazing characters, some weave a certain mystery around themselves, some are fun and entertaining and some leave no option but to fall in love with them. Here is your guide to The Witcher 2 cast.

The Netflix Original has an abundance of interesting characters. At times it gets a little difficult to keep a track of them. Season 2 of the show will feature some characters coming back to the show, while we definitely will get to see some new faces. The OGs returning to The Witcher 2 cast

It comes as no surprise that Henry Cavill will be returning as the monster-hunting Witcher known as Geralt of Rivia. It feels as if there was no better human who could have played this character. Henry was born to play this role. Anya Chalotra also returns as Yennefer of Vengerberg, a powerful sorceress who can honestly be considered as one of the most powerful characters of the show.

The very beautiful and talented Freya Allan will play the role of Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon, or better known as Ciri, the princess who is tied to Geralt owing to the Law of Surprise. Last but not the least; everyone’s favorite bard Jaskier will also mark his return with the actor Joey Batey joining the cast.

Old and new faces that we should know for this season

The leader of the Nilfgaardian army Cahir Mawr Dyffryn aep Ceallach better known as Cahir, will continue his pursuit for Princess Ciri. Cahir has now got a brand new armor, just like our boy Geralt.

During Season 2, we will be meeting Nenneke, priestess of Melitele. In the books, she was a mother figure to many and even helped Geralt. In the show, we will see her in her temple at Ellander; where she will offer help to Geralt and Ciri.

We already saw Vesemir take down a Leshy, but an even more dangerous and lethal Leshy awaits the duo of Geralt and Ciri in the forest.

Also, get ready to meet a few more Witchers, namely Coen, Vesemir, and Lambert, and many more at Kaer Morhen – the remote castle home of the switches.
