When Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left their senior royal positions, netizens weren’t quite expecting them to become news and gossip churning machines. The couple cited a lack of privacy and the grilling nature of the British tabloids towards Meghan Markle, among other reasons, for leaving the palace. However, the media scrutiny that has come of it is not much different and subjectively worse than what it used to be. Now instead of only being deemed improper by the British tabloids, the Sussexes are also bearing the heat of America’s popular cancel culture.

The attention on them is at an all-time high ever since they dropped their bombshell Netflix docuseries and Prince Harry, his memoir. While everyone has their two cents to give owing to approximately twenty-eight million households streaming the documentary, body language analysts have also found their new subject matter. Dr. Louise Mahler in particular has very strong opinions about the couple after watching their Netflix docuseries, as she revealed on The Morning Show.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are “different” when apart

The ordinary viewer who watched the couple’s Netflix docuseries did it mostly to see what the couple had to say for themselves. Apart from some shocking revelations, the docuseries also entailed many never seen pictures of the couple which did what they intended to do in evoking sympathy and love in their viewers. However, Dr. Louise Mahler disagreed with the photos being “candid“. The body language expert called the pictures “staged” while adding that “everything they do is staged!

Apart from the pictures, the body language expert also has a bone to pick with Meghan Markle about her “There’s no class and some person who goesSit like this, cross your legs like this, use this fork, don’t do this, curtsy then, wear this kind of hat,’” statement. The Duchess of Sussex referred to Anne Hathaway’s timeless classic The Princess Diaries as she talked about the lack of guidance.

Markle said that she did not know her way around the curtsy and did not have anyone to guide her, for which the body language expert says that she could have hired someone to teach her. “There are a lot of people who can help you in that area and she should have got the help,” she said. As the question of whether they will be attending King Charles’ coronation looms over their head, the couple is maintaining their distance from the spotlight, in light of the negative backlash following the memoir.
