“Everybody thinks I’m…” – Millie Bobby Brown Once Responded on Joining MCU Phase 4 With ‘The Eternals’
Millie Bobby Brown rose to fame after the first season of Stranger Things, but it wasn’t until the third season that the offers began to pour in. She appeared in the Godzilla franchise film Godzilla vs. Kong and even starred in and produced yet another Netflix production, Enola Holmes. However, her extraordinary fame rose to the point that her name started being associated with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It was back then when the fourth phase of MCU was in the making and the studio had announced its ambitious project Eternals. Also, Brown’s rumored association with the movie seems natural since she was at the peak of her stardom at the time. However, when the actress was questioned about it, she straightaway said, “Everybody thinks I’m going to be in a Marvel movie. Not that I know of.”

As per Comicbook, she also said that her family and friends did not have an idea of her starring in such a project. Hence, she made it clear to everyone that she was not in any way associated with the movie. She was only 15 years old back then, so she denied the rumor in the most innocent way possible. Although, she was not the only star facing the speculations of starring in the film.

Back then, Pakistani-American actor Kumail Nanjiani, who is known for his comedy series Silicon Valley, was said to appear in the film. However, he denied commenting on the rumor. However, later on, he did end up starring in the film as Kingo.
Eternals were part of Phase 4 of MCU, which included the films released from 2021 to 2022. The film is about a species of superhuman creatures that have been covertly residing on Earth for countless years, getting together to fight the wicked Deviants.

The cast included huge names such as Angelina Jolie, Gemma Chan, and Harry Styles. The film came out in November 2021 and did not perform up to the expectations of the makers. Although Phase 4 of MCU saw many hit films like Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Spiderman: No Way Home, and Doctor Stranger in the Multiverse of Madness.
