A Thanksgiving movie on Netflix for your friends

Have you ever been a part of a party where the party goes beyond your control? You call a certain number of people, but they bring unexpected guests with them, and the people who have canceled suddenly show up. And you can do nothing but watch the whole thing snowball into a colossal mess.

Friendsgiving is exactly about these things with an all-star cast, including Kat Dennings, Chelsea Peretti, and others. This 2020 comedy-drama is the closest to new Thanksgiving movies on Netflix and will be a perfect match to watch with your friends.

A fun family movie

Holiday Rush is another 2019 comedy-drama. In this film, a widowed DJ and his kids have to adjust to his sister’s house when his company fires him. The kids find the ordeal excruciatingly brutal as they are accustomed to a comfortable life.

The fun family movie hits you in the feel, but will also restore your faith in miracles. The film has a Schitt’s Creek vibe to it, with the family trying to adjust to a new environment.

A Netflix Thanksgiving movie to watch with your lover

Single folks with no dates on Thanksgiving have to answer a barrage of questions from their relatives, and it gets a little irritating. Holidate, a rom-com expands on this problem faced by single folks with a unique solution.

Tired of being alone on holidays, two strangers agree to be each other’s platonic plus-ones for the entire year, only to develop actual feelings for each other along the way. This 2020 movie could be your solution to shut your relatives and find a companion.

A refreshing movie

If you can’t handle criticism about the turkey you made for dinner, then Chef is the movie to watch. The 2014 movie features Jon Favreau as Carl Casper, who quits his job as a chef at a Los Angeles restaurant after a fight with a critic to start his restaurant.

However, when Carl spends some time with his son, he ends up opening a food truck with his best friend (John Leguizamo). This move improves his relations with his separated wife (Sofia Vergara) and kid. Jon and John also have supporting roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
