Fans loved the 2013 Man of Steel because of two reasons: one is, of course, Henry Cavill and the second is his relationship with Lois Lane in the movie, and Justice League as well. Having a human love interest brought out the best of Superman. Zack Snyder recently talked about the character and the actress who played the role, Amy Adams.

The Man of Steel director appeared at Pizza Film School with the Russo Brothers. They exclusively talked about the Justice League and almost all the components of filmmaking. During their conversation, Snyder touched upon Lois’ role in the film and praised Amy Adams as well. In the film, Lois Lane was Clark Kent’s girlfriend. When Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Batman, and others brought back the Kryptonian from the dead, Lois Lane was there as well.

Discussing the situation in the film, Snyder talked about the concept of a husband who had been away from his wife to fight in the war. He said he loved the idea of a dead husband coming back to his wife, saying he was not dead. How would one handle that situation? “Especially since I had Amy, Amy’s like a genius,” said the 300 director. Because of Adam’s superb acting skills, he changed the dynamics of the film and leaned on the American actress. 

Although fans would have loved to see more of Cavill’s Superman and Adams’ Lois Lane, the future of Justice League is totally uncertain. But James Gunn has an idea of bringing back the Kryptonian.

How is Superman coming back to the DCU?

After taking over the DCU, Gunn announced his plans for future projects. The big plan has a film about young Clark Kent. The film would mark the beginning of the DC Universe. And the film is Superman Legacy. Gunn is writing the script of the film without disclosing the actor. However, recently an ex-Superman actor expressed his wish to come back to the DC.

While on the one hand, Gunn is planning the return of Man of Steel, fans want Netflix to take over the rights of Snyderverse. They want to see more of Zack Snyder’s vision. Although fans are still hoping for the bright future of Justice League, do you think it would come back?
