Millie Bobby Brown has churned out two successful projects with Netflix, aside from the Duffer Brothers' show– Enola Holmes and Damsel. While neither of the projects could quite match the impact of Stranger Things, both have carved out a promising future on the streaming platform, particularly Enola Holmes. With the final chapter of Stranger Things drawing to a close, Brown seems set to sign on for a third Enola Holmes installment, which is likely to start shooting once Stranger Things season 5 wraps up.
This means Enola Holmes 3 could hit the screens as early as 2025. The groundwork for the third installment began last year itself, as was confirmed by Scott Stuber, Head of Netflix Film, in an exclusive interview with Collider. Though the specifics of the plot are still under wraps, the core cast, including Henry Cavill, is rumored to return to the screen for the third time. And now, with Brown potentially bowing out of Stranger Things early, Enola Holmes 3 could shift into production gear even sooner.
Unlike many of her fellow Stranger Things cast mates, Millie Bobby Brown seems to be quite eager to bid adieu to the franchise after its fifth season.

Millie Bobby Brown has been very clear about her feelings regarding the end of Stranger Things. While she has not shown any sign of ingratitude and has always thanked Stranger Things for her thriving career, the actress seems to have squeezed the last drop of excitement from the show and wants to move on. Brown has likened the final season to the feeling of graduating from high school, something she just wants to get done with. And this has sparked rumors about her early exit from the show.
The reason is the lengthy filming schedules of Stranger Things that have become an obstacle in her path to focus on other projects she is truly passionate about. Many other stars, including Gaten Matarazzo and David Harbour, share Brown's sentiments. On the other hand, stars like Sadie Sink are not yet ready to bid farewell to the show. While there is no confirmation regarding the early exit claim yet, it seems likely that Millie Bobby Brown will remain a fixture on Netflix even after Stranger Things ends.
