The role of Stranger Things catapulted Millie Bobby Brown to fame only at the age of 12. However, her accomplishment as Nancy Springer’s Enola Holmes gave this young star a new image. This movie brought her the opportunity of being a producer alongside acting. The young actress has learned a lot by engaging herself in this movie.
Brown played the character of a clever and feisty detective fighting against the restrictive conventions of Victorian society, but this time, they depicted a different subject that involves deadly adventure and conspiracy. And during this journey, the British actress has found a connection with this spirited character as she recently talked about the striking similarities she sees between her and Enola Holmes.
Millie Bobby Brown resonates with Enola Holmes in many ways
Millie Bobby Brown sat down with the SAG-AFTRA Foundation on November 10 to talk about her character in Enola Holmes 2. During the conversation, she opened up about how she felt connected with Enola’s character. She said both of them have had to survive in a place that is not well-suited for them.
According to her, this character has all the good and bad qualities of her. Although there is one difference that Brown has to be thoughtful on some things as she works in Hollywood.
“We persevere through things that be wrong or good and Enola does anything to be taken seriously,” explained the Emmy nominated actor.
Brown shares how she has grown up watching American stars like Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus all her childhood, but she never had someone who would sound like her, which didn’t result in a connection with these characters. So, with Enola, the actress added bits of herself into the character, which ended up being an amazing experience for the actress. Viewers can, thus, see the love the shines through the character in both the movies.
