According to Myers, Wednesday season 2 will focus on a character-centric narrative. “It just makes so much sense to have the characters we have and to have the story we have,” she said of the events that make up the forthcoming installment. Emma Myers is not exactly worried about the ones who do not show up in the upcoming season of the Jenna Ortega-led show. However, something did scare her upon her return to the Wednesday set.

In her conversation with Variety about Wednesday’s forthcoming installment, Emma Myers recalled not showing up at the Minecraft wrap party because she was headed straight to Ireland the next day for the Netflix show. Although the excitement was off the roof, so was her anxiety. Myers was reportedly “scared to go back” because she recounted re-watching the season 1 scenes and fearing whether she would be able to “re-create” those.

“It’s been so long,” Myers said. However, as soon as she got to the table read, it all came back to her. It was almost like no time had passed and nothing really changed. “I think I’ve lived with Enid for so long, it comes very naturally now,” she continued. Then again, she could not resist an Enid teaser, adding she had changed over the summer. But fans might have to wait until the release of Wednesday season 2 to witness the shifts.
