Ellie Goulding continues to slay while dismissing cheating allegations 

The singer turned 36 recently, and she took to TikTok to make a birthday post. She posted a video of her dancing to Prep’s version of Harry Styles’s As It Was. A fan dug out a years-old scandal accusing her of cheating on her then-boyfriend Ed Sheeran with Niall Horan. 

The comment caught the singer’s eye, and she was quick to add a response to the comment. “False!!!!! But also slay,” she wrote. The Love Me Like You Do singer sparked dating rumors with the Thinking Out Loud crooner in 2013 at the MTV Music Awards. Their relationship was short-lived and was emotionally scarring to Ed. Apparently, the Lights singer had cheated on him with Niall.

In fact, fans speculated that Sheeran had penned the song Don’t about his relationship with the blonde. In fact, right after the allegations, she was seen getting cozy with Horan after their rumored break-up. Well, ever since their breakup, they have clearly followed the rule that exes cannot be friends. Ed has moved on and is a taken man. He is happily married to Cherry Seaborn and shares a daughter with her.
