“Dude, I’m not dead!” Did Britney Spears Just Target Millie Bobby Brown’s Wish to Play Her in the Movie?
Who knew that the child actor we saw in One Upon a Time in Wonderland will become an acting sensation just in a few years? We are obviously talking about the 18-year-old treasure trove of talent that is Millie Bobby Brown. With the Enola Holmes sequel also winning hearts, all eyes are now on the Stranger Things alum. Does this story seem familiar?
The princess of pop, Britney Spears, also had a very similar start to her career. No wonder Brown resonates with the Oops!… I Did It Again star’s life journey. So much so that the teen star also expressed her desire to play the iconic pop star if her Biopic were to be made. While her wish got the fans excited, it seems like Britney Spears, herself, did not take kindly to Brown’s words.

Was Britney’s backlash directed at Millie Bobby Brown?
Barely a day ago, Millie Bobby Brown appeared on the Drew Barrymore Show. The two actresses engaged in a hilarious and entertaining conversation spanning various topics. However, one revelation from the talk show suddenly became the talk of the town. When asked about her bucket list for future projects, the Enola Holmes actress expressed her desire to embody Britney Spears on screen. Being a child star herself, Brown believed she could do justice to Spears’ journey.

This, apparently, did not go down well with the Gimme More singer. Just hours after Brown illustrated her wish, Spears took to Instagram and put out a lengthy post. From the caption, it is safe to assume that Spears did not take Brown’s words as a compliment.

“I hear about people wanting to do movies about my life… dude I’m not dead!” wrote the pop icon.
While she might not have explicitly mentioned any names, the timing of the post is proof enough that the remark was directed at the Stranger Things star. Spears even made a snide comment about her parents in the post, stating that they would prefer it if she were actually dead. Her relationship with her parents has been strained for quite a while now, and Spears has been quite vocal about that.
