The rivalry between the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has been an unsolved dispute since time immemorial. First spat over the bridesmaid controversy, the cracks between the two royal women kept deepening until they ultimately fell apart. There are countless stories of disputes that have divided the royal fandom for ages. 

Countless revelations have been made so far, narrating the rift between the two. Netflix’s Harry & Meghan claims followed by Prince Harry’s Spare, have been the main sources. However, the truth bombs seem nowhere to stop. A brand new royal publication has shed more light on the rift between Wales and the Sussexes. While the book talks majorly about the present monarch, it also revealed how the Princesses gave each other some really tough times to put up with. 

Last year, in the month of September, the family kept aside its broken ties and put up a united front for the Queen’s funeral. After the rituals, the once-tagged “fab four” members of the monarchy came out for a walkabout. As is the custom, the future King and Queen and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex met with the heartbroken fans and shared a few moments with them. 

As reported by Daily Mail, Robert Jobson, the author of the book mentions the Princess of Wales, struggled with the time they spent together. The walk down the Windsor was reported as “one of the hardest things she ever had to do,” with the Duchess, Meghan Markle, claiming an expert from the said royal biography. 

Why did Kate Middleton struggle with Meghan Markle? 

The reason behind the “ill feeling” between the other senior members of the family. After the centerpiece of the Monarchy had left King Charles with all her responsibilities, half of them fell onto Waleses’ shoulders. For they are the rightful successors to the throne. 

Ever since her admission into the monarchy, Kate Middleton has always been the perfectionist in the House of Windsor. Markle, who is famous for her bold character and personality, was also seen in huge despair as she stood with the family as tragedy struck. Post the funeral, there have not been any encounters between the royal women to this day.
