Despite not being very far away, the Duke could not meet his grandmother for the last time as he arrived late at the Balmoral Castle in Scotland. After Queen’s death on September 08, 2022, there were a lot of rumors about why the prince reached late and was not accompanied by his wife Meghan Markle.

Following the announcement from Buckingham Palace regarding Queen’s deteriorating health, reports stated that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were traveling together to Balmoral. However, it was later confirmed that only the Duke boarded the private jet. Royal sources suggested that Markle was denied permission to see the Queen. In his memoir, Prince Harry confirmed the speculations. He also reflected on the argument he had with his father regarding the same.

<h2>Prince Harry could not tolerate his father’s disrespect towards Meghan Markle</h2>

Both the Duke and Duchess were ready to fly, but his father King Charles III ordered him to not bring Meghan Markle. The explanation did not make any sense to the Sussex royal, and he found then Prince Charles to be disrespectful.

He was quick to reprimand his father about the same by saying, &#8220;Don&#8217;t even think about speaking about my wife like that.&#8221; Prince Harry further recalled his father stammering and explaining that a very limited number of people were going to the Queen. He even mentioned how Kate Middleton was also staying back. To this, the prince claimed, &#8220;Then you should have started with that.&#8221;
Further, the California-based mentioned that he could not meet his grandmother for the last time as she passed away before his arrival.
