Months after taking over the reins of DC, James Gunn and Peter Safran recently gave the fans an insight into what the future looks like. The duo announced a plethora of upcoming projects. With Shazam! Fury Of The Gods, DC will enter its new era. While the fans are eager to see what the future holds, the recent trailer for Shazam 2 by DC Japan has added to the excitement.
Among the huge number of shows that were canceled by Gunn was Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman 3. As Gunn rebuilds the entire franchise, it seems like they have made it up to the Wonder Woman fans. Recently, DC Japan released another trailer for Shazam 2. However, this trailer came with a little twist. Fans could not help but notice the tiny glimpse of what supposedly is Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince in the trailer. Soon after the teaser went viral, Twitter erupted with crazy reactions from the fans.

After DC waved off Wonder Woman 3, there was a lot of speculation, with fans wondering if Gadot would no longer reprise her role in the future. However, after watching the trailer of Shazam 2 by DC Japan, the fans went frenzy over the tiny glimpse of Gadot’s Diana Prince. Soon after, Shazam Updates took to Twitter to share a short teaser, and the fans were quick enough to notice Gadot’s Diana Prince. And unsurprisingly, the fans could not help but go gaga over the actress. The teaser received an amazing response as the fans flooded Twitter with excitement.

However, on the other hand, a similar update from industry insider Matt Ramos on Twitter was not welcomed by the fans. As Ramos posted pictures of Gadot on Twitter from the teaser to break the news, people called him out for ruining the suspense. Earlier, the viewers were making only speculations, but with his tweet, Ramos confirmed the news.

Shazam: Fury Of The Gods will premier on 17 March 2023, marking the start of a new era at DC. Following Shazam 2, the much-anticipated film Flash 2 will make its way to our screens in June later this year.
