Alongside Cavill, fans have been demanding to see Elizabeth Olsen star opposite the British actor in the series. Previously, a digital artist 83 Pixel Studios released a poster featuring him alongside the Avengers actress Elizabeth Olsen. The poster is of House Of Dragons 2 with both Cavill and Olsen dressed in impressive clothing similar to those worn by the show’s characters.

The rumors of Cavill and Elizabeth Olsen joining the House Of Dragons franchise had been floating around previously. Furthermore, these speculations have started gaining more attention because of two major reasons.

On one hand, Cavill has stepped away from two of his biggest roles to date. Meanwhile, Olsen’s future in the MCU is uncertain too. Now that her character Wanda Maximoff is dead, there are no reports on whether the actress would extend her contract with the franchise. Owing to the pair’s incredible performances in previous projects, they would be an apt choice to play Blood and Cheese. However, the rumors of the duo appearing in the fantasy show are baseless or are they?

Will Cavill join House of Dragons 2?

Previously, during an interview Josh Horowitz, Henry Cavill shed some light on becoming a part of the House of Dragons franchise. As reported by ScreenRant, the actor spoke, “I think it would be cool to be in Westeros, I really do. I don’t think there’s a place for me in there, though.”

Cavill also mentioned how a number of stars from the show would really be a good fit for The Witcher as well. For now, the second season of House of Dragons will release in 2024.
