Did You Know Prince Harry Faced “constant berating” From the Royal Family Over Tensions Between Meghan Markle and Her Father
It is no secret that the royal family has always been persistent about Meghan Markle solving her issues with her father, Thomas Markle. Queen Elizabeth II wanted her younger granddaughter-in-law and Prince Harry to meet the retired photography director before their grand wedding.
Thomas Markle was initially expected to give away his daughter in the royal ceremony on May 19, 2018, at St George’s Chapel. However, his relationship with the Duchess turned sour after he staged photographs with the paparazzi. The retired lighting director also missed the wedding due to his heart surgery. Meanwhile, it might surprise you that the members of the royal family constantly troubled Prince Harry because of the strained relationship between his wife and her father.

Meghan Markle wanted to sort out issues with her father due to Harry
In September last year, the court revealed the emails and texts shared between Meghan Markle and her former communication secretary, Jason Knauf. The Duchess of Sussex had mentioned how the royal family was causing pain to Harry, despite the couple explaining the situation between Markle and her father to King Charles III in detail numerous times.

In one of the messages, the former actress admitted that she wrote a letter to her father only to satisfy her in-laws and bring some peace in the life of her husband. “They fundamentally don’t understand, so at least by writing H will be able to say to his family, ‘She wrote him a letter, and he’s still doing it.’ By taking this form of action, I protect my husband from this constant berating and, while unlikely, perhaps it will give my father a moment to pause,” Meghan told Knauf as revealed by Vanity Fair.
Notably, the letter that Markle wrote to her father went public in no time. The Suits alum already had an inkling about the same, as in her texts to Knauf she discussed the possibility of her father giving the letter to the media.
