Right from their first meet-up to the last day before writing the memoir, Prince Harry said it all. The Duke told a lot about their initial courtship and how they were just like young and delinquent teenagers who are madly in love with each other. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had plans to get married in Botswana

Writing about the same, the Duke revealed in his memoir that he and Meghan Markle were “denied” their dream wedding in 2018. According to him, the couple had to cancel their initial thoughts and ideas about their own wedding and had to adhere to the Royal prototypes of a proper marriage. He revealed that as soon as he proposed to Megan Markle in late 2017 at their royal base, Nottingham Cottage, they wanted to get married quickly and ideally.

Rather than the grand and lavish way of getting married as typical Royals, they had their dreams to get hitched “barefoot in Botswana”. In fact, they wanted it way before their marriage was actually held. Prince Harry and Megha Markle wished to get together even sooner but “the Palace couldn’t seem to pick a date. Or a venue,” writes the Duke in his life’s memoir. Nonetheless, they had to follow the rules that the Palace imposed.
