Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had always had an extremely coordinated relationship ever since they tied the knot in the year 2018. Everything that has ever happened since their marriage, be it their numerous philanthropic works reaching their peaks or their personal relationships with the Palace taking a toll on them, they have always had each other’s back. 

Especially for the part of the Duke, Prince Harry has himself confessed to his disturbing childhood and the neglected young adult years he had to deal with all by himself. On top of it, having lost a mother was having its separate effects on the juvenile Prince. In the course of those few rebellious years of the Duke’s life, he involved himself in a series of activities that does not exactly suit a Prince of the United Kingdom. 

He was merely at school when he started experimenting his ways with booze and drugs. His father, the then-Prince Charles was in fact strictly against this practice of his youngest. The publisher revealed that he apparently considered this “a filthy habit” that the Duke had engaged himself in. Nonetheless, it was his then-fiance Meghan Markle who came to the rescue. 

As the Daily Mail reports, the military prince engaged himself in activities like smoking and was frequently snapped by the paparazzi smoking joints with his friends. However, after having moved into Kensington Palace with his health-conscious fiance, Prince Harry eventually started to get his life sorted. 

Prince Harry quit smoking because Meghan Markle was being affected 

An anonymous insider had revealed to the outlet that “Harry has promised no smoking at all at home,” as it was not safe for Meghan as a non-smoker. Hence the practice of him hanging out of the window for a quick puff was called off with immediate effect after Meghan Markle moved in. “He quit for Meghan” read the outlet. The Marlboro nights were finally off the menu for the Party Prince. 

Not only Prince Harry but his closest friend, Mark Dyer reportedly sold off his Chelsea Pubs, The Brown Cow, Sands End, and The Cross Keys. In fact, the only club present the nearest to their abode was also one of Meghan’s favorites.
