Last year, Jenna Ortega revealed her secret to the unnerving stare during her appearance on Today with Hoda and Jenna. In the interview, the actress stated that she and Tim Burton brought up this idea at the very beginning of the show. The director liked when she stared through her eyebrows with her chin down. “Kind of a Kubrick stare. Then I relax all the muscles in my face,” explained the Scream Star.
According to her, it was difficult portraying such an iconic character, but she loved the time she got to spend with the cast and crew.
