Did Ryan Reynolds Convince Hugh Jackman to Join The MCU With Deadpool?

Hollywood will never let a profitable fan-favorite franchise retire so easily, especially the MCU. It will always look at every possible ground that is left to break and every new character exploration left to explore to breathe back life into this once-great cinematic universe. The only two things that are sure to serve this purpose are the return of Wolverine and Deadpool. Yes, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are to be seen once again, this time together, in a single movie. The leading actors confirmed this recently a couple of days ago.

However, it was not the resolute persuasion that got the Wolverine back to MCU. So how did Hugh take this giant step? Who convinced the Hollywood A-lister to come back, given the heartbreaking ending of Logan? Here is what you need to know.

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds to come together on screen for the new Deadpool movie

Reportedly, the Logan star went live with TikTok u/uncrazed where they posed certain questions before him on his decision to return as Wolverine. While everyone thought it was Ryan who got him into Marvel once again, Jackman made an intriguing statement that said, “I make my own decisions, brother.” However, various reports have confirmed the news that the star had been wanting this for a very long time now.

Regardless of who convinced the actor, when all is said and done, what matters is the trajectory of MCU will be finally revived. In a second video segment, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman gave a brief synopsis of the course of events. According to them, the new movie would not alter any happenings of the 2017 movie. Rather, Deadpool III will act as a prequel to the previous movie justifying the death of Logan.

Presumably, there will deploy a number of magical multiverse explanations in order to incorporate Jackman’s character. In addition to that, this movie will mark the second crossover between the X-Men and the MCU. Out of all the world-saving heroes ever manifested, Wolverine/Logan has been one of the most loved characters.

It would not be incorrect to say that perhaps it was the only character who was comparable in stature to Tony Stark. This reignited the excitement among fans to expect anything out of the blow. As of now, it would not be surprising if Disney and Marvel make any unanticipated move to revive the Superhero franchise.
