Did Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Lie in the Disclaimer of the Netflix Docuseries? Palace Source Reveals the Truth
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are all over the news because of their Netflix docuseries. The American streaming platform released the first volume of Harry & Meghan and it has received a mixed response. The docuseries mainly talks about the difficulties faced by the Duke and Duchess as working royals. As the couple will share their experience in the six-episode series, they are likely to upset the members of the royal family.

It can also shade the senior royals, including King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla. Thus, Netflix found it better to run the content through the House of Windsor ahead of the global release. Before starting with the controversial docuseries, Netflix ran a disclaimer that read, “Members of the Royal Family declined to comment on the content within this series.” However, a controversy has erupted as some sources have questioned the legitimacy of the disclaimer.
Sources reveal whether the Palace was contacted for Harry & Meghan
Hours after the release of the series, the royal editor Omid Scobie made a serious claim on his official Twitter handle. As per royal sources, Netflix and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did not contact any royal office to make a comment on the bombshell series. However, in another tweet a few hours later, Scobie gave another update that stated that the Palace was approached for the comment.
An inside source mentioned that Kensington Palace was approached by a third party. The royal staff tried to connect with Archewell Production and the streamer to confirm the legitimacy of the email. However, they received no response, and thus, no comments were made.
Meanwhile, Netflix has refused the statements delivered by the royal sources. The Netflix insiders revealed that both the Prince and Princess of Wales and King Charles and Queen Consort were asked for comments. They were provided with sufficient time to respond, but the royal members decided against it.
