Inside sources have revealed that the late Queen was always eager to speak with her California-based grandson. However, she was stressed over his complaints of then Prince Charles not picking up his calls. The late monarch tried to defuse the tension between father and son by advising her son to speak with Prince Harry. However, he denied her request by stating, “I am not a bank.” The sources have claimed that the Duke wanted to get in touch with his father to ask for money to survive in the United States.

Prince Harry even requested his grandmother to help him financially. However, the Queen could do nothing as she was relieved of a lot of royal duties in the last year. Meanwhile, it is also revealed that King Charles was adamant about conversing with his son only via email.
“Charles insisted that his son must email him. Members of the family, including William, had stopped speaking to Harry when they learned of his book deal, fearing what they said could end up in print,” inside sources have claimed as quoted by the Mirror.
