Henry Cavill came clean on his diet when preparing to play Superman. The actor appeared on tonight’s show with Jimmy Fallon wherein he talked about his fitness diet and regimen followed by him. “If I’m mass building, I’ll eat burgers and stuff,” said The Witcher actor. While it may seem like an unusual choice, playing the lead, especially a fantasy character, requires one to look big and massive.
When asked about his exercise routine, the 39-year-old also indirectly hinted at how he has “lots of s*x” to keep fit. Though it is not only the superheroes that work hard. Tom Hardy who played the villain Venom, prefers pizzas to bulk up. Although camera direction also helps by shooting from a lower angle, the actors are made to go through a drastic change which may not always be the best for their health.
As for Henry Cavill, he has managed to stay fit since appearing as Superman for the first time in 2013. After Black Adam proved to be a disappointment, a lot is riding on Cavill with his Man of Steel 2. Considering his age, the British actor likely is likely preparing to bulk up again with new adaptations.
