Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are trying to co-parent despite their separation. The couple was finally granted a divorce after Kardashian applied for it in 2021. It was not an easy process, with Ye being noncooperative throughout. They eventually managed to come to a settlement and share custody of their children.

The co-parenting will require them to stay cooperative around their four young children. Despite Ye’s current controversies and disagreements with his former wife, he took on the limelight while attending his son Saint’s 7th birthday.

Kanye West managed to make it to his son Saint’s birthday, which was held on Kardashian’s property. As per reports, “Kim put her own feelings aside and made sure that Kanye could have his time with Saint too.” As per reports, the socialite wants to be fair to the father of her children by allowing him to spend time with them as well even though Ye previously claimed that his former wife would not let him see the children and that she would keep him 80% of the time. The source also added that “But this is by no means an easy situation to navigate.”

The duo has four kids together, namely daughters North, Chicago, Psalm, and son Saint. The businesswoman even took her son and his friends to Los Angeles for a Rams game, which Ye missed, but was there on his actual birthday. While Kim Kardashian will be looking after the kids, Ye will be paying $200,000 in childcare in addition to other expenses like school fees and security.

This was the first time since their divorce that they tested the idea of joint custody. If any issues regarding the children arise in the future, they will have to solve it amicably or let the third involved party decide. How long will this arrangement work, is to be seen. Despite the chaos and ban, Ye has managed to keep good relations with his children so far.
