The adaptation dazzled the audience with its incredible depiction of the dream realm mingling with the human world. Sadly, despite winning the favor of millions of viewers, the show did not receive a seat on Netflix’s 2023 Geeked Week. It is one of the biggest fan events which will take place between November 6 to 12 and give insight into upcoming shows and movies.

The Sandman was undoubtedly something beyond the imagination of viewers. Likewise, the creators of the show kept its terminology even more unique and exciting. In a now-deleted post, Netflix teased the renewal of the show through a clip in November 2022 which read “THE DREAM CONTINUES”. Only hours after that, the streaming giant confirmed it through an official statement. Instead of promising a new season, they went for calling the show’s future as just “more episodes.”

Neil Gaiman also rolled out a statement regarding the renewal and expressed his excitement about the immense love the show received. The executive producer revealed they will bring more such stories to life. “There are some astonishing stories waiting for Morpheus and the rest of them,” said the writer. He also teased the joining of new cast members along with Tom Sturridge, aka the Lord of Dreams.
