Time has been slow for fans of Henry Cavill as Superman. After Justice League in 2017, it has been four years of pleading on the fans’ part and four years of rejecting the pleas on DC’s part. The fandom was taking it fairly well, fulfilling their desires by watching Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia on Netflix.

That is until it was announced that Keanu Reeves would return as John Constantine. Furthermore, Warner Bros. Discovery will be producing another Contastine sequel starring Keanu Reeves and directed by Francis Lawrence.

The rage of Henry Cavill fans soon trampled over the excitement at the return of John Constantine. After David Zaslav, the CEO of Warner Bros Discovery Inc got our hopes up by showing a small peak of the superhero in the upcoming Dwayne Johnson starter Black Adam, fans want more.

Given the rumors of the British actor making his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it seems very unlikely we will get another movie starring Henry Cavill as Superman. Not just that, but the Superman movie starring Michael B Jordan is also halted. But DC fans are still hanging onto a thin thread of hope.
