There is exciting news for the fans of the Criminal Minds. There will be a reboot announced by the show’s labels. Reportedly, Paramount+ announced that “We are still very much in development on Criminal Minds,” The plot or the detailed story is still to be announced but they said, “We’ll have more to share on that soon but it is alive and well.” Too much exciting, right?

The main 6 stars might also return to the finale of the show, depending on their availability. These fan-favorite cast members, Joe Mantegna, Kirsten Vangsness, Adam Rodriguez, A.J. Cook, Aisha Tyler, and Paget Brewster, confirmed that they would return to the show considering their deals and time availability. Fans couldn’t be more excited!

Will the Reboot be on Netflix?

Well, the original drama follows a group of criminal profilers. They work for the FBI as members of its Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU). They use behavioral analysis and profiling to investigate crimes and find criminals. The group is led by Senior Agent David Rossi (Mantegna) along with Agents JJ Jareau (Cook), Tara Lewis (Tyler), and Luke Alvez (Rodriguez). The group includes Technical Analyst Penelope Garcia (Vangsness) and Unit Chief Emily Prentiss (Brewster) as well. This crime thriller keeps the curiosity alive in the minds of the viewers and continues the mystery till the end.

As soon as the fans heard the announcement of the cast members getting together to investigate another case and solve the mystery, they are binge-watching this classic crime series again. In the current era, Criminal Minds is among ViacomCBS’ most prized titles. It is true that Paramount+ has all 15 seasons, and Netflix displays the first 12. But the show has made it to the most-watched title on Netflix in 2021. It was also the third-most-streamed series on Netflix in 2020 after The Office and Grey’s Anatomy.

    I love Criminal Minds, I won’t be able to watch it because I am NOT paying for another TV channel. I don’t know why all the TV channels have to have a plus channel.☹️
