The Witcher has wrapped up its 2023 leg of gracing the fans with the fantasy land’s content. A season split into two volumes; it was very much like the fandom that was split in two. The polarising stands had some being disappointed with the exit of Henry Cavill, while a few optimistic others were trying to not lose hope about the show’s future. Amidst all this, a powerful sorcerer of Vengerberg stole the show. Not only did the makers of the fantasy thriller drama weave the character as a central part of the show, but also fostered a great relationship between Yennefer and Geralt’s child surprise Ciri. 

While the producers whip up their magic for season 4 and Liam Hemsworth takes Geralt’s sword, the fandom will be busy with Comic-con events and maybe a Tudum feature too. In doubts of which Yennefer costume to don to be the most powerful witch? Here are the top three choices. 

1. The velvet two-part tribute

Anya Chalotra’s Yennefer is one of the characters who has had a more complex array of costumes. Her gorgeous features and beauty aside, the Vengerberg native donned intricate costumes throughout the three seasons. Naturally a top cosplay choice, Yennefer’s chic hunter outfit exudes her personality. A velvety overall look, it fit perfectly with the aesthetic that Chalotra’s character carried in the show.

The ease of switching from a gown to a trouser could not be easier for the fighter. Hannah Éva, an avid cosplayer, showed her outfit in both the gown and trouser variations. In addition, the cosplayer’s Hunter costume stirs more excitement to see Chalotra herself don it in the upcoming seasons. 

2. Reimagining Yennefer’s costume apart from that in The Witcher

Another cosplayer, Alena Galan, showed her own rendition of the character’s costume. Taking the tough route, Galan reimagined her idea of Yennefer and paired a brown corset with a black shirt. The purple flowers perfectly encapsulate what Geralt had been noticing about Yennefer all along – the smell of lilacs and gooseberries.

The purple also paid tribute to the character’s original violet eyes. While fans can enjoy the outfit, they are unlikely to see Chalotra don it herself. 

3. The Ultimate power and beauty dynamics of the Geralt’s romantic flame 

Another powerful depiction involved Yuntasha’s purple electricity lights and black throne. Paying homage to the Yennefer’s association with everything velvety, violet, and purple, the cosplayer sat on a black throne exuding beauty and power. They all fit the Vengerberg sorcerer’s taste, with black gloves, and a choker to complete the look.

While this rendition is common in video games, watching Chalotra pull this off would be magnificent. It is giving the “🔮 Yennefer 🔮” vibe for real. While Yennefer’s ball gown from the series and the likes will always be a favorite, these three options stand out from the usual outfits Chalotra dons in the show.
