And this time,it is The Witcher family that might be going through this spectacle of existence. 

Recent turn of events has revealed something neither the cast or crew, nor the the fans of the show had expected to take place. From watching him gallop off the rocky terrains with Geralt of Rivia (played by Henry Cavill) to hearing of the gentle beast, Hector, in the series, galloping off to the heavens, the fans are finding themselves in a bittersweet trance of this uncalled for incident. 

Announced by Laca Juhasz via the Instagram handle of Team Juhasz, the company that dealt most of the horses appearing in the Netflix fantasy series from the entirety of season one through to part of season three. The black horse or Roach, as it was addressed in the show, said to have had the first and instant connect with Cavill, although being only five years of age at the beginning of the series, did not get to appear much with the actor. The horse was eleven by the time the third season's wrapping up, and twelve, by the time it was time.

While the reasons remain curtained, there is one thing that is accepted by the audience, for sure, in regard to Hector's time on earth. 

Hector was a Friesian horse that was known as Geralt of Rivia's "black roach", through the series. And as reported at the time of his death, Hector was only twelve years of age, as old as a toddler in horse years, especially when expected to live easily, at least, a few decades through, more. Born in only 2013, as the official Instagram story indicated. The avid audiences of the show seem to have dug out the details of the gentle horses appearing on the show, seeing it and the proper full-of-intent goodbyes as their way to the friendly beast.  

With the affect it seems to be having on the audience that had only watched the lovely horse through the screen, his bond with Henry Cavill is accepted as one for the books.
