American director Jon Hurwitz has revealed on X (previously Twitter) that Cobra Kai will begin production right after New Year’s. He concluded the message by saying, “It’s going to be our most kick-ass season yet.” This adds to the earlier update in which the creator revealed that the series has resumed scriptwriting and is “back in the writer’s room.” Not only that, but the filmmaker stuck to the previously stated timeframe.

The fifth season of the hit show concluded numerous key story lines, but it also left viewers with big cliffhangers that the final season is expected to resolve. While nothing is known about the final season’s plot at the moment, it is certain that the majority, if not all, of the cast from Season 5 will reprise their roles. The viewers will have to wait and watch for additional details about the series.
