She also gets back to the time when her parents get separated as she gives her outlook on their divorce. 

Bubbly Cardi B has always taken life in a positive light no matter what she faced 

Cardi B is one of the guests that appeared in season 4 of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman in episode 4. The episode has a runtime of about 41 minutes where Cardi B is chattering about her family, kids, teenage life, and difficult times she faced with strength. The kindred soul of New York Cardi B began her life in Washington Height, now a world-renowned pop star. 

In her interview with Letterman, she shared how her mother was a very disciplined person. She told Letterman that her childhood was very different from her kids. But she also remembers all the sacrifices her mum made and the shifts she took to raise her. Because she was 13 when her parents got divorced, leaving only two people in the home. To which she added “It was tough seeing my mom work so hard” as she was a single mom with a teenage girl.  

However, the time brought her the opportunity to explore her teenage life all by herself. Without her dad around Cardi, got more freedom to do things when her mom was out for work. As she stated: 

“Now that my dad is not living with us. I have a little bit more freedom”

And she felt terrible saying such things but these experiences helped her become a more independent and bold person. Cardi has certainly found her way in life by taking steps that made her an influential female rapper of all time.
