The British singer Rita Ora left no stone unturned in the past to display their undisputed love for Prince Harry. She publicly accepted her adulation for the Duke of Sussex, despite the latter’s relationship with Meghan Markle. In 2017, the songwriter revealed her ambitions of dating the prince. This was the time when Prince Harry was madly in love with the former American actress.

Thus, you should not be surprised to know that once Rita Ora dissed Meghan Markle on national television for being the royal girlfriend. The famous singer also questioned the authenticity of the relationship between Prince Harry and Markle. Notably, while appearing in The Wendy Williams Show in December 2016, Ora showed with disapproval towards the Suits alum.

Rita Ora did not foresee Meghan Markle as a royal bride

When the love of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was making headlines in 2016, Rita Ora gave a shocking response over their possible marriage. The British singer was suspicious about the relationship being true as she believed that something was not clicking between the prince and the American actress. Ora also added how she could never picture Markle walking down the aisle as the future Duchess of Sussex. 

“I know my prince really well. And in my dream that, for me, just no. I don’t think it works out. I just don’t know if I can see her waffling around Buckingham palace!” Rita Ora had said on the show as per Pop Crush. 

However, the songwriter’s prediction did not come true. Prince Harry married Meghan Markle in a royal ceremony at the St George’s Chapel on May 19, 2018. Despite Ora’s jibe toward Markle, there is no bad blood between her and Sussexes. 

Prince Harry was seen hugging the singer while having a pleasant conversation with her in 2019 at the Sentebale Audi Concert at Hampton Court Palace. In the same year, Ora had also spoken highly of the relationship between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
