In a cover interview with LA Times, the 31-year-old star opened up about how women are condemned for making different choices in their lives. She stated that the world is always brutal to females, whether they are doing good things or bad. During the conversation, Emily referred to Sydney Sweeney, who loves posting her pictures in bikinis.

“Can we stop blaming Sydney Sweeney? Or the woman who had an affair with [Maroon 5 frontman] Adam Levine, who everyone was so mad at instead of him?” questioned the model.
According to the actress, people always find reasons to pin women down like they blame the Euphoria star for showing her bikini line. The Gone Girl star wondered why women are pressured with such huge responsibilities as maintaining society’s image. Since we all know that the power dynamic keeps on flipping quickly, so why do women have to grind always? Well, Ratajkowski might have used Sweeney’s name as an example here, but the 25-year-old herself has similar views about women’s treatment in the industry.

During the conversation, the 25-year-old poured her heart out about how people started seeing her differently after she took off her shirt on television. She stated that where men receive praise for doing such things, women instantly fall into the eyes of society and don’t remain the same figure anymore.
